Munich Airport runs Goldhofer eTug Phoenix E
Tractor specialist Goldhofer is on a high as they write a second order from a central airport. After Vienna Airport, Munich now too uses a zero-emission aircraft tow tractor by Goldhofer. Model Phoenix E is even stronger than the Bison as it tows large jets weighing up to 350 tons.
BYD unveils driverless electric forklifts and aircraft tugs
BYD has developed a driverless electric forklift together with Singapore-based ST Engineering. The two companies signed a cooperation agreement to broaden their joint activities in this field. That’s not BYD’s sole special vehicle innovation: The company also unveiled two new electric tug models.

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) operates an extensive electrification strategy. As it is Lufthansa’s home base, the airline complements the airport’s efforts and has turned to Sweden’s Kalmar to order their 700 kW eTug that can tow very large jets emissionfree.
