Kia reveals prices for the EV6 in the USA
Kia has announced US pricing for the 2022 EV6. The EV6 uses the Group’s E-GMP architecture made for pure electric models. When revealed last year, it represented a new era at Kia, which plans seven EVs on the platform of which the EV6 is the first.
Kia EV6 reaches up to 528 km range in WLTP cycle
The Kia EV6 offers a WLTP range in the combined cycle of up to 528 kilometres if utilising the large 77.4 kWh battery and rear-wheel drive as now completed homologation shows. It is slightly more than Kia expected when debuting the EV last March.
Kia EV6 now available to order in Europe
The Kia EV6 can now be configured and ordered at local dealers across 24 nations in Europe. During the reservation phase, which has now ended, Kia recorded 7,300 reservations for the electric model in Europe. This indicates – as already with the e-Niro – long delivery times.
Kia opens orders for all-electric Kia EV6 in the UK
Buyers in the UK may now reserve Kia’s new electric car, the EV6, ahead of deliveries beginning later in autumn. Pricing sets the EV outside the range of the plug-in car grant (PiCG) with even the baseline EV6 starting from £40,895 (47,925 euros).
