DS changes teams from Techeetah to Dragon
DS Automobiles has parted company with the Techeetah team in Formula E and will be working with the US team Penske Autosport (Dragon) in the ‘Gen3’ era of the all-electric racing series from the coming season. In addition, the two drivers for 2022/2023 have been determined.
Vergne & Vandoorne win Formula E in Rome
The two races on the second weekend of Formula E have produced two new winners this season. Saturday’s race was won by previous champion Jean-Eric Vergne in the DS Techeetah, while on Sunday, Mercedes driver Stoffel Vandoorne crossed the finish line in first place.

As the Formula E finale draws closer, the fight for the top intensifies. Current leader and defending champion Jean-Éric Vergne (DS Techeetah) secured his 3rd victory this season at the Swiss E-Prix, ahead of Mitch Evans (Panasonic Jaguar Racing) and local hero Sebastien Buemi (Nissan).

FIA’s final fine print
The new Formula E champion Jean-Eric Vergne and his team colleague Andre Lotterer received an unusual fine at the season finale in New York. Both drivers were fined €5,000 for wearing what FIA considers “noncompliant underwear” during the qualifiers.
