Fox E-Mobility has taken another step towards the start of production and has completed the overall design of its new Mia electric car series. The first prototypes are planned for the current year. Series production in cooperation with a vehicle manufacturer is scheduled to start in 2024.

Fox E-Mobility has presented an integrated mini construction kit for the Mia 2.0 electric car. The concept, called skateboard, allows several derivatives of the Mia product family such as shorter or longer models for three or four passengers or small vans with 1,500 litres of space.

Plans for the market launch of the Mia 2.0 electric car are being revived. After announcing last year that production of the small car would start at the beginning of 2020, production is now planned for the first quarter of 2023.

Swiss manufacturer Fox Automotive has commissioned the battery system developer, Lion Smart, to make a “light” battery to fit their EV series, Mia. According to Fox, a fully automated production line for the model already exists and the new component is expected to be included by spring 2019.
