Tesla CEO Elon Musk is certain that investors will approve the merger of the EV maker and SolarCity. He even expects a “supermajority” to vote in favour of the deal.

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, is working on phasing out the most polluting vehicles in the British capital. A newly presented Greenpeace report suggests that cleaner air could be a reality if London bans diesel cars.
“India needs to look at incentives for electric and hybrids again. In China, almost half of the cost of the green vehicle was incentivised. Even though it need not be that high here, but it certainly has to be higher than what it is.”
Pawan Sachdeva, Mahindra Reva’s senior general manager, says that EV uptake in India is still too low and that the administration needs to motivate motorists to make the switch. Only 753 EVs were sold in the country, compared to 1,76,627 in China.
