FEV joins Prologium in solid-state battery development
The German engineering service provider FEV has teamed up with Taiwan’s Prologium for their solid-state battery expertise. Under the MOU, they will focus on developing customer-specific battery systems, sales and cell/module verification based on Prologium’s SSB technology.
Posco invests in ProLogium’s solid-state batteries
The South Korean steel group Posco has entered into a cooperation with the Taiwanese solid-state battery cell manufacturer ProLogium. In addition to an undisclosed investment in ProLogium, the agreement provides for the joint development of components for ProLogium’s solid-state batteries.
Mercedes-backed ProLogium may go public this year
Taiwan’s solid-state battery developer Prologium is looking into an initial public offering this year or next, CEO Vicent Yang said in an interview with Bloomberg. Electric scooter manufacturer Gogoro has unveiled a prototype lithium ceramic solid-state battery for two-wheel battery swapping. The prototype, jointly developed by Gogoro and solid-state battery specialist ProLogium Technology, integrates with Gogoro’s existing vehicles and battery swap network.
Mercedes buys into solid-state batteries with ProLogium

Vietnamese electric car startup VinFast has announced a joint venture with Taiwanese battery cell manufacturer ProLogium to accelerate the commercialisation of solid-state battery-electric cars in Vietnam. The cells are expected to be used in VinFast’s electric cars as early as 2023.

The Taiwanese battery cell manufacturer ProLogium has presented a solid state battery package for electric cars, buses and two-wheelers at CES. ProLogium has already signed several strategic cooperation agreements with several car manufacturers to test its MAB solid state battery package.
Nio & ProLogium working on solid-state batteries
China’s EV start-up Nio is cooperating with battery cell manufacturer ProLogium of Taiwan to develop solid-state batteries. The short-term goal is a prototype. Whether the longer-term goals can be achieved will probably also depend on the economic situation at Nio.
