In Singapore, Hyundai and partners SP Group and Komoco Motors are trialling customer care packages with the ‘E-mobility Pilot’. A total of 50 long-range Ioniq 5 electric cars will be involved in the program which mainly includes charging and maintenance packages.

The SP Group, a Singaporean energy utility company, has announced a strategic investment in the German charging infrastructure service provider The Mobility House. The investment amount has not been revealed. The Munich-based company intends to use the cooperation to open up markets in Asia.

Singapore has contracted three companies with an order for 60 electric buses to be delivered in 2019/ 2020. The contracts went to BYD, ST Engineering and Yutong-NARI. At the same time, Singapore Power announced their plan to build 1,000 charging points in the city-state.
