Sunwoda to build another 50 GWh battary factory in China
Chinese battery manufacturer Sunwoda Electric Vehicle Battery is pushing hard to build new production facilities. According to a stock exchange release, Sunwoda will build a new factory with an annual capacity of 50 GWh in the city of Yiwu in the Chinese province of Zhejiang.
Sunwoda to build battery plant with Donfeng in China
The Chinese battery manufacturer Sunwoda Electric Vehicle Battery is building a battery factory with Dongfeng in the city of Yichang in the Chinese province of Hubei. The plant will be designed for an annual production capacity of 30 GWh and is to be built in two phases.
One third of the world’s EV batteries come from CATL
According to an analysis by the market research company SNE Research, electric vehicle batteries with a total capacity of 203.4 GWh were installed worldwide in the first half of 2022. The leading supplier was CATL with 70.9 GWh or a market share of 34.8 per cent.
Sunwoda to build 30 GWh battery plant in China
The Chinese battery manufacturer Sunwoda Electric Vehicle Battery plans to invest around 12 billion yuan (1.7 billion euros) in the construction of a production facility with an annual capacity of 30 GWh in Zhuhai in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong.

Nissan has announced plans to electrify every new model in Japan, China, the US and Europe from the early 2030s. The carmaker also plans to accelerate the introduction of electric and hybrid cars in China under its main brand and its Chinese brand Venucia.
Nissan & Sunwoda exploring next-gen battery development
Nissan has announced a collaboration with Chinese company Sunwoda Electric Vehicle Battery to develop next-generation batteries for its e-Power vehicles jointly. The negotiations also include a production system to ensure a stable supply capacity for the shared cells.
