Nissan to stop selling ICEs in China by 2025
Nissan plans to sell only electric and hybrid cars in China from 2025. The decision to electrify its entire model range in China follows against the background of the emerging ban on the registration of pure combustion engines in China from 2035.

Donfeng & Nissan JV begins Sylphy production
The joint venture’s first low-cost BEV has begun rolling off the assembly line at the Guangzhou factory in China. According to the manufacturers, it will be joined by another 5 models spread over several brands by the end of next year.

Nissan Sylphy electric car available to order in China
Nissan’s Sylphy Zero Emission is now available to order in China. First presented in Beijing this Spring, the EV Nissan built with Dongfeng owes much to the Leaf but is longer and has a range of 338 km. Prices start at 22,000 euros after incentives.

Nissan’s first EV for China – Sylphy Zero Emission
Nissan has come prepared to the Auto China with the Sylphy Zero Emission on display. It is the carmaker’s first dedicated EV for the Chinese market and one of a total of 20 electrified models Nissan wants to launch over the next 5 years.

Nissan & Dongfeng confirm their China EV
Partners Nissan an Dongfeng presented their electric car model for the Chinese market. It will come in the form of an existing model from Nissan. Together they want to woe buyers in the People’s Republic as they seek to offer the EV under all labels.
