Seat aims for 500,000 electric cars per year

Seat wants to produce 500,000 electric cars per year in Spain from 2025 for its own label and other Volkswagen Group brands. Seat announced the target along with its own new ‘urban electric vehicle’ at the company’s annual press conference.

Seat working on serial version of Cupra Tavascan

Seat is developing a production version of the purely electric concept car Cupra Tavascan. This was hinted at by the new brand boss Wayne Griffiths in an interview in which he described the all-electric SUV coupe as “our dream car”. Seat is also considering a small electric car based on MEB.

Seat Mii electric the cheapest of VW’s electric cars

Seat has published the price for the Mii electric for Germany. The small electric car of the Spanish Volkswagen subsidiary will be available at a basic list price of 20,650 euros and is, therefore, cheaper than the sister models of the Škoda and VW brands.
