Volkswagen to upgrade Chemnitz factory

Volkswagen is planning to adjust production at the Chemnitz engine plant in future as part of the transformation to electric mobility. Up to now, only combustion engines have been produced at the plant. At a works meeting, the first eMobility component from Chemnitz was announced.

Mahle becomes technology partner to DTM Electric racing series

Mahle announces it is now an official series partner to DTM Electric. The German supplier will develop and supply the thermal management components for use in the race cars and says it may also incorporate its new immersion cooling technology, which makes it possible to charge batteries in just a few minutes.
