Škoda’s first MEB e-car to be an SUV named Enyaq
Škoda has announced that its first purely electric SUV will be called Enyaq. With this model, the Czech brand is establishing a new family of names that combines the ‘E’ as a reference to electric mobility with the ‘Q’ in the name of its SUVs.

VW-SAIC reveal first MEB models for China
Volkswagen plans to produce three electric models based on the MEB modular electrification system together with its China partner SAIC at the new plant in Anting near Shanghai. An internal report specifying two of the three models has been unearthed.

Norway: Skoda accepting deposits for electric cars
Skoda has begun accepting registrations for its first two electric models in Norway. The EVs based on Volkswagen’s MEB are the Citigo e iV and the Vision iV. Customers wanting priority on order lists will have to pay an advance of NOK 5,000 (€520).

Vision iV to be Škoda’s first electric vehicle on MEB
At the Geneva Motor Show, Škoda is presenting the Vision iV, a close-to-production preview of its first electric model based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB modular system, which is due to be launched on the market in 2020. The drive and battery data match those of the Audi Q4 e-tron concept.
