Modular EV platform: Nissan seems to want to intensify its electric endeavours and is developing a modular platform to expand its EV line-up, Auto Express reports. Chief Creative Officer Shiro Nakamura explains that Nissan wants “to grow the portfolio” beyond the Leaf, imagining both a crossover and/or an electric sports car within the next five years.

Ford Model E: Details emerged about Ford’s “Prius-Fighter” that will allegedly be built in a new facility in Mexico. The mysterious electrified car might go be called Model E, a name which Ford had snatched from Tesla a while back.
