The depot’s filling station is equipped with two H2 dispensers, each with a 350 bar operating pressure and a total capacity of one tonne of hydrogen. According to an accompanying press release, it enables the refuelling capacity for an increasing number of hydrogen buses to be easily expanded. Hydrogen is regularly delivered by Everfuel using special trailers. The supply contract has been signed for a minimum of three years.

Though developed and constructed by Everfuel, the station is owned by ICB. It will be used to fill up the operator’s 23 fuel-cell buses, which were delivered by Polish manufacturer Solaris. Moreover, ICB ordered an additional nine Urbino 18 Hydrogen from Solaris in April.

“We are pleased to celebrate the inauguration of ICB’s refuelling station. The opening is an important step in Everfuel’s ambition to make hydrogen available for heavy-duty mobility fleets starting in Germany,” says Lars Jakobsen, Sales Director of Everfuel. “ICB is at the forefront, pioneering the transition. I would like to extend my gratitude to ICB, which has been a treasured partner in development of the refuelling station, and I look forward to the continued cooperation.”
