Vauxhall CEO Huettl also becomes head of Stellantis in Germany
Stellantis says that by appointing Huettl as Head of Germany, it is endeavouring to achieve a bundling that will “increase efficiency and support profitable growth in times of comprehensive industry transformation.” In his additional new role, Huettl will be specifically responsible for the sales and marketing activities of the Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Lancia, Leapmotor International and Peugeot brands.
The Opel boss succeeds Lars Bialkowski in this role “We would like to thank Lars Bialkowski for his work over the past few years, which has significantly shaped the success of Stellantis in Germany, and wish him every success for the next steps,” says Jean-Philippe Imparato, COO Enlarged Europe and CEO Stellantis Pro One. There is no mention of which path Bialkowski will take.
Meanwhile, Imparato is convinced that Huettl’s dual role will pay off: “We want to strengthen our organisation in Germany through targeted management and with a focus on partnership-based cooperation within and outside the company. We are therefore delighted that Florian Huettl will be taking over the management of Stellantis’ German business in addition to his role as Opel CEO.”
Florian Huettl himself also has his say: “I am very much looking forward to actively managing the German market for Opel and all other Stellantis brands in a spirit of partnership from now on and to further expanding the Stellantis market position in the long term.” The clear goal is to get even closer to the customers together with the partners.
