UK charging providers set up lobby group ChargeUK
In the UK, 18 of the country’s leading charging infrastructure providers have joined forces in a new organisation called ChargeUK. The companies want to invest more than six billion pounds in developing and operating charging infrastructure in the UK by 2030.

Gridserve breaks ground at Gatwick Airport
Gridserve has broken ground on its so-called latest Electric Forecourt amidst “multiple global headwinds,” so CEO Toddington Harper. Once completed in 2023, the new high-power charge hub will enable 36 EVs to be charged simultaneously with up to 350 kW.

UK: Gridserve accelerates ultra-rapid charging network

There are already eleven charging parks under construction, each with six to twelve high power charging points, according to Gridserve. The Electric Highway, tge UK’s longest-standing fast-charging initiative, has opened its largest high power charging site at a Moto pitstop, Rugby Services, at Junction 1 of the M6. The new facility includes 12 ultra-rapid chargers from Tritium, able to charge supported vehicles at 350kW.
