VW expands networks & offers fixed prices
The Volkswagen Group is launching a charging and energy campaign. The volume brands Volkswagen, Cupra/Seat and ŠKODA are now to offer fixed kilowatt-hour prices throughout the entire charging network. At the same time, the Group is further expanding its European charging network.
VW wallboxes affected by software issues
Software problems with the VW ID.3 have been reported extensively over the past months. Now, according to information from Focus Online and efahrer.com, there are also problems with the VW wallbox: several hundred copies of the ID. Chargers have to be reprogrammed.
VW buys into charging software-provider has-to-be
VW’s energy subsidiary Elli has acquired a stake in has·to·be, an Austrian provider of charging software solutions and long-standing partner of Ionity and Audi as well. Together, the two companies want to push ahead with the expansion of the charging infrastructure.
VW bundles their charging and energy business
Volkswagen announced the establishment of a subsidiary for energy offers and charging solutions. The Elli Group GmbH will be headquartered in Berlin and will develop energy and charging products and services for the Wolfsburg Group brands.
