Energica to expand HQ in Italy
The Italian electric motorbike manufacturer Energica, part of the US group Ideanomics, has begun expanding its headquarters in Modena. The expansion by another 1,150 square metres of space will serve research and development, prototype testing and the Energica Inside business unit.

Solaris marks further orders for electric buses from Italy
Solaris is to deliver further trolleybuses to Italy in 2020. The public transport operators SETA Modena and TEP Parma have placed orders for a total of 18 Solaris Trollino 12 buses. Eight of these will go to SETA Modena, the remaining ten to TEP Parma.

Italy: Kiepe to supply tech for 38 electric buses
The German supplier Kiepe Electric is supplying key components for new Solaris electric buses for use in the Italian cities of Milan and Modena. Milan’s public transport operator ATM has ordered 30 Solaris buses with electrical equipment from Düsseldorf.
