Freightliner scores order for over 200 ZEV trucks

Order for 25 Kenworth e-trucks for Los Angeles

US manufacturer Kenworth has just announced its largest electric truck order to date. Jack Khudikyan, owner of the logistics companies AJR Trucking and MDB Transportation, has ordered 25 electric trucks from Kenworth.

HPC corridor for trucks developing in California

The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and Calstart have received $13 million from the California Energy Commission (CEC) to “jump-start” a high-power charging (HPC) corridor for medium- and heavy-duty electric trucks in California.

First Nikola Tre trucks arrive at the Port of L.A.

Nikola has delivered the first units of its Nikola Tre battery-electric truck in the USA. The vehicles went to logistics provider Total Transportation Services (TSSI), which serves the California Port of Los Angeles and Long Beach.

Toyota working on fuel cell truck with Kenworth

Truck maker Kenworth and Toyota Motor North America are collaborating to develop ten trucks using Toyota fuel cell technology. The hydrogen trucks are to run at the Port of Los Angeles and are part of a million dollar initiative funded by CARB.
