Pre-orders for Tesla truck now possible in Europe

Tesla has opened the order books for its electric truck Semi in Europe – or let’s say in several European countries such as Norway, the Netherlands and Great Britain. Besides that, more and more Model 3 cars are about to get delivered to external clients.

During a presentation last month in the Netherlands, Jerome Guillen, vice president of Tesla’s Semi project, announced that the design of the model will be adapted to European regulations.

So far, Tesla made its official reservation option mainly available to customers in North America. Those interested, have to transmit a down payment of 20,000 dollars (and even 200,000 for the “Founder Series”). Pricing for the base version shall start at 150,000 dollars. That is what the Californian company calls the “expected price” for the truck’s 480 km range version. The “expected price” for the model with 800 km range is 180,000 dollars.

Moreover, media reports suggest that more and more private customers in California are about to receive their ordered Model 3 cars. Obviously, Tesla’s production speeds up. That would fit to statements of several suppliers of Tesla such as Hota Industrial. Recently, the Taiwanese company told domestic media that Tesla increased the demand for parts back to 5,000 units per week this month.
