After hitting the London Taxi scene, the London Electric Vehicle Company has signed a statement of intent detailing a cooperation for charging ports and infrastructure with Fortum Charge & Drive, which is planned to cover Norway, Sweden and Finland.

The London based company will be expanding its taxi markets, as the Scandinavian countries prepare for a renewable private transit system, to mirror the alternative energy public transport that is running across the northern European nations.

Fortum Charge & Drive will be taking over the software aspects of the partnership, as the company has announced the provision of end-user interface and a back-end system to support charge point operators in remote charging stations. The agreement will cover all three Scandinavian nations with a uniform system, allowing for easier transit between them, as well as inside.

The move comes, almost immediately after the announcement, that as of Summer 2018 LEVC taxis will be available in Germany as well. The German start will take place in Berlin, Stuttgart and Munich, as the London Taxi Company enters the mainland business.
