Stellantis enables Supercharger use with NACS adapter

From now on, electric vehicles from the Stellantis Group can also use Tesla's Supercharger network. In addition to Dodge, Jeep, Ram, and Fiat, this also applies to BEV models from Maserati, provided a suitable NACS adapter has been ordered. This means that virtually every electric vehicle in North America now has access to the Superchargers.

Previously, electric models from numerous manufacturers have been able to use Tesla Superchargers—either via an adapter for the North American Charging System (NACS), a native charging port, or through the ‘Magic Dock’ on the Supercharger itself. These include Acura, Audi, BMW, Ford, General Motors, Genesis, Honda, Hyundai, JLR, Kia, Lucid Motors, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Polestar, Porsche, Rivian, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo.

Stellantis announced in November 2025 that it would adopt the NACS charging standard. The plan was to grant electric models from Jeep and Dodge access to the Supercharger network in the USA and Canada from early 2026, and in Japan and South Korea from 2027. However, a specific start date remained unclear at the time—until now.

From now on, customers with battery-electric vehicles from Stellantis in North America can also access Tesla’s Superchargers. This is made possible by the ‘Free2move Charge NACS-CCS1 DC Adapter,’ which, according to the manufacturer, is available through certified low-emission vehicle (LEV) dealers and online via Mopar. Stellantis has not disclosed pricing details. The company does not support third-party adapters. Alternatively, the ‘Magic Dock’ on the Superchargers can be used, provided they are equipped with one.

The following models are currently compatible:

  • Dodge Charger Daytona (model years: 2024, 2025, and 2026)
  • Jeep Wagoneer S (model years: 2024 and 2025)
  • Jeep Recon (model year: 2026)
  • Ram ProMaster EV (model years: 2024, 2025, and 2026)
  • Fiat 500e (model years 2024, 2025, and 2026)
  • Maserati GranTurismo Folgore (model years: 2024, 2025, and 2026)
  • Maserati GranCabrio Folgore (model years: 2024, 2025, and 2026)
  • Maserati Grecale Folgore (model years: 2025 and 2026)

The first Stellantis model to feature a standard NACS charging port will be the Dodge Charger Daytona 2027, enabling it to charge at Superchargers without an adapter. It is not yet known when additional models will follow.

To use the charging points, Stellantis has integrated the Superchargers into its Free2move Charge app. After adding a payment method, users can start and pay for charging sessions directly through the app.
