Nexport to build electric vehicles in Australia
The electric bus manufacturer Nexport has announced plans for the production of electric vehicles in a new plant in the Australian state of New South Wales. It will initially produce buses, but later also other types of vehicles such as cars, trucks and vans.
By its own account, BYD sold more than 6,000 Qins in China in the first months of 2014. With official figures yet to be released, China’s National Passenger Car Association says that if the selling trend really did continue to rise in March, the Qin could just be the country’s best selling EV to date.
