Bye Aerospace presents 9-seater with serious range
Bye Aerospace has announced an all-electric aircraft with room for up to seven passengers plus one or two pilots. The aircraft, called the eFlyer 800, is said to have already received deposits from customers, however, it remains to be seen when delivery will take place.
Largest electric plane order for Bye Aerospace
OSM Aviation has awarded a huge order for commercial electric aircraft. The Norwegian company ordered 60 all-electric planes from the Colorado-based manufacturer Bye Aerospace to be used for training at its flight training centres.
Bye Aerospace’s first electric plane takes off
Bye Aerospace, or better, Hi electric flying, as the start-up’s Sun Flyer 2 has successfully managed its maiden flight. The two-seater electric plane runs on Li-ion batteries by LG Chem and is said to be capable to stay airborne for up to 3.5 hours.
