Volvo reveals the CO2 footprint of the C40 Recharge
Volvo Cars published the life cycle assessment of the new Volvo C40 Recharge it makes in Belgium. One of the key findings is that even when the C40 Recharge is charged with electricity from the global energy mix, its carbon footprint, including production and recycling, is lower than that of a combustion engine.
Volvo C40 Recharge to launch in the US this year
Volvo Cars has opened the order books online for the C40 Recharge at an MSRP of $58,750 in the United States before tax credits. Vehicle production will begin in Ghent, Belgium, this autumn, with the first US deliveries being set for Q4 2021.
Volvo is launching the C40 Recharge in the Netherlands, Norway
Volvo has opened the order books for the C40 Recharge in the first European countries. The second electric model in the Swedish companies’ current range is available to order now in the Netherlands and Norway and from 3 June in Sweden and the UK. Other markets will follow in the coming weeks.
