Porsche Cayenne PHEVs to receive larger battery

Porsche has increased the capacity of the high-voltage battery in the plug-in hybrids of the Cayenne. Thanks to optimised cells, the gross capacity increases from 14.1 kWh to 17.9 kWh, resulting in a range increase of around 30 per cent.

Porsche pushes their electrification initiative forward

Porsche is accelerating their electrification plans and announced that between 2022 and 2025, a fully electric version of the Macan, Cayenne, Boxster and Panamera will be made available. As of 2027, only the 911 will drive with a combustion motor.
