Stellantis will build EVs in Portugal
Stellantis has announced plans to manufacture electric vehicles in Portugal. From early 2025, the production centre in Mangualde will be the first assembly plant in Portugal to build battery-electric vans for Citroën, Fiat, Opel and Peugeot in large-scale production.

Stellantis & Toyota launch recall due to battery issues
Numerous electric models from Stellantis and Toyota will have to go to the workshop because of possible battery problems. The affected vehicles, all of which were built in 2022, may have a fault in the specific software calibration of the traction battery control unit.

Stellantis brands lower UK prices due to PiCG update
Citroën has announced the elimination of ICE of their passenger van lineup, namely the Berlingo Electric and ë-SpaceTourer Electric. Further, the Stellantis subsidiary announced price reductions for both ranges to take effect from 11 January 2022.

Stellantis to build electric vans in the UK
The Vauxhall plant in Ellesmere Port is to become an electric vehicle production site: Stellantis has announced that it will turn the plant into a production site for battery-electric commercial vehicles and passenger car models of the Vauxhall, Opel, Peugeot and Citroën brands.

Opel expands battery centre to cover eCMP models
Opel has upgraded its battery centre at its headquarters in Rüsselsheim. In addition to the Ampera and Ampera-e, the batteries of all Opel models on the eCMP platform (currently the Corsa-e and Mokka-e) and Combo-e, Vivaro-e and Zafira-e Life are now tested and, if necessary, repaired there.

Opel now presents the electric passenger van Combo-e Life, which will be available from autumn in versions with five or seven seats. In the UK Combo-e Life is marketed by Vauxhall.

Opel/Vauxhall presents Combo-e Cargo van
Opel-Vauxhall has presented the new Combo-e Cargo. From size and capability, the all-electric high-roof van fits in between the Vivaro-e electric van and the big Movano-e that the brand will unveil later this year.
