Evergrande earns half a billion dollars via shares
Evergrande New Energy Vehicle, the NEV offshoot of the Chinese Evergrande Group, has raised around half a billion US dollars in fresh capital by selling treasury shares to a number of external investors. Among the investors are prominent names like Tencent and Didi Chuxing.
BP & Didi launch charging joint venture
The British oil company BP announced the establishment of a joint venture for charging infrastructure with the Chinese mobility company Didi Chuxing. The partners are planning to set up a nationwide network of charging stations for electric vehicles in China.

Rumours assert trouble between Didi and NEVS
The Chinese Uber equivalent DiDi Chuxing has cancelled their cooperation with Saab owner National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS), announced at the end of 2017, to develop a specialised EV for the ride-share service, according to rumours.
