Volkswagen launches electric truck production in Brazil
Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus (VWCO) began series production of its first all-electric truck in Brazil on Monday. The South American brand is manufacturing the e-Delivery distribution truck in the Brazilian city of Resende and initially plans to produce 1,000 to 3,000 units per year.

VW with modular platforms for electric trucks & buses

Brazil: Brewery Ambev to run 1,600 VW electric trucks
Brazilian beer maker Ambev plans to add 1,600 electric trucks to fleets of its logistic suppliers. The first will be the VW e-Delivery that is to hit the road this year. It is the kickstart of a trial designed to find the zero emission technology serving Ambev best.

DHL orders ten Tesla Semi electric trucks
DHL Supply Chain that is part of Deutsche Post DHL Group in the Americas, has placed an order for ten Tesla Semi. It plans to test the trucks at its customer operations in major U.S. cities from 2019.

First electric truck by VDL
