VW plant produces 7,100 electric cars in one week
Volkswagen’s electric car plant in Zwickau set a production record in the week from 7 to 11 November when 7,100 electric cars were produced, more than in any previous week. This means that the plant is close to reaching its maximum capacity.

Volkswagen boosts BEV deliveries by 27%
The Volkswagen Group increased its deliveries of fully electric vehicles by 27 per cent in the first six months of 2022 compared to the same period last year. A total of 217,100 all-electric vehicles were handed over to customers in the first half of the year, up from 170,900 in the same period last year.

VW gives ID.4 & ID.5 GTX models an upgrade
VW has given the GTX models of ID.4 and ID.5 a slight upgrade. The previously optional ‘Design’ and ‘Comfort’ equipment packages are now included in the standard equipment. In return, however, the base price for both models has increased. GTX variants of the ID.3 and even the ID. Buzz are to follow.

VW resumes three shift operations in Zwickau

VW postpones launching the ID.5 due to war in Ukraine

VW launches series production of the ID.5 in Zwickau
