PSA building chargers for European employees

The French automotive group PSA has announced that it will establish charging infrastructures for its employees at all European locations. By the end of 2021, almost 500 charging stations are to be installed at 49 Group sites in twelve countries.

Groupe Renault has created a new subsidiary called Elexent to help other companies find solutions for charging their fleets of electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles. A branch office in France is already operational.

FR: Izivia shuts down most of its fast-charging stations

French network operator Izivia has shut down 189 of 217 fast-charging terminals due to security concerns. The EDF subsidiary has decided to close these stations in the Corri-Door charging network following two “hardware incidents” within a few months.

Nissan expands V2G cooperation with EDF

Nissan is expanding their cooperation with Électricité de France (EDF) in the field of vehicle-to-grid charging of electric vehicles. The agreement now applies to Great Britain, France, Belgium and Italy.
