Lordstown Motors launches deliveries of the Endurance
US electric car start-up Lordstown Motors has received full homologation for its first model Endurance, clearing the way for sales to begin. Certification for the electric pickup truck has been granted by both the federal EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and the California CARB (California Air Resources Board).

Foxconn increases investment in Lordstown Motors
The Taiwanese contract manufacturer Foxconn is investing a total of up to 170 million US dollars in the US electric car start-up through the purchase of ordinary shares and newly created preference shares. This brings Foxconn’s stake in Lordstown Motors to almost 20 per cent.

Lordstown kicks off production of the Endurance pickup
Lordstown Motors has begun production of its Endurance electric pickup truck. The U.S. electric car startup is having the electric truck built by contract manufacturer Foxconn, which bought the Lordstown car plant in the U.S. state of Ohio with this in mind.

Foxconn buys Lordstown plant & signs manufacturing partnership
Foxconn will buy the car plant of the electric car start-up Lordstown Motors in Lordstown in the US state of Ohio. This is provided for in an agreement in principle that has now been concluded between the two sides. Foxconn will then take over the production of the electric pickup truck Endurance for Lordstown Motors.

Karma is out to get Lordstown
Another lawsuit of electric carmaker against carmaker has made it to the US courts. Karma Automotive filed a federal lawsuit against Lordstown Motors, accusing the Ohio company of theft of intellectual property, breach of contract and poaching. It is not the design this time though but pure Infotainment.
