Liverpool to add 300 charge points hidden in streetlamps
Liverpool in North West England has chosen Ubitricity to triple the city’s charging network with lamp posts doubling as charge points. Founded in Berlin, Ubitricty is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the oil giant Shell and has ambitious targets in the UK.

Aviva invests £110 million in Connected Kerb
The UK charging infrastructure company Connected Kerb is to receive an investment of up to £110 million from insurance company Aviva. The investment should enable the installation of a total of 190,000 publicly accessible AC chargers across the UK by 2030.

London Borough of Barnet to install 500 EV charge points
Barnet Council says they have secured over £3.5Mn (about €4.1Mn) in grant funding to deliver 500 on-street electric vehicle charge points by November 2022. The North London borough currently claims the second-highest EV ownership rate in London.
