Opel electric fire truck begins service
A fire-red Opel Rocks-e has gone into service at the Opel plant fire brigade in Rüsselsheim. The special conversion of the light electric vehicle is equipped with a special signalling system, front flasher and emergency numbers and goes out to check fire extinguishers on the 1.9 square kilometre site.

Opel Rocks-e available in Germany from €7,990
The Opel Rocks-e is now available to order in Germany at list prices starting at 7,990 euros. Opel says the monthly financing rate for the City EV will be the same as a ticket for local public transport. Delivered to dealers will begin before the end of the year.

Opel launches Citroën Ami spin off in Germany
Opel is introducing its own offshoot of the Citroën Ami light electric vehicle. The mini and low-cost EV will come to market as Opel Rocks-e in Germany with orders starting this autumn online or through direct sales at select Opel dealers – with other markets to follow in 2022.
