Extreme E announces hydrogen-based racing series
The battery-electric off-road racing series Extreme E has announced plans for a spin-off with hydrogen vehicles at the start of its second season. The Extreme H off-road series is scheduled to start in 2024. Incidentally, last year’s champion Rosberg-X-Racing won the season opener in 2022.
Rosberg X Racing team win first Extreme E title
Molly Taylor, Johan Kristoffersson and former Formula 1 driver Nico Rosberg’s Rosberg X Racing team are the first champions in the history of the Extreme E electric SUV racing series. The championship leaders prevailed over Lewis Hamilton’s Team X44 in an extremely close final.
Nico Rosberg founds Extreme E team
After Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg also founds a team for the electric off-road racing series Extreme E. Rosberg Xtreme Racing (RXR) is the ninth team to sign up for the Extreme E.
