VW brand reveals electric car roadmap for China

The Volkswagen Group’s core brand VW has now revealed the details of its electric vehicle roadmap in China. To start with, VW wants to deliver 300,000 electrified models to Chinese customers as early as next year. By 2025, the figure is expected to rise to around one million.

VW-SAIC reveal first MEB models for China

Volkswagen plans to produce three electric models based on the MEB modular electrification system together with its China partner SAIC at the new plant in Anting near Shanghai. An internal report specifying two of the three models has been unearthed.
