The first MG4 Electric reaches European shores
The first batch of MG4 Electric cars was shipped from China to Europe and arrived at the port of Zeebrugge, Belgium, last Friday. MG aims to launch over 1,000 units of the electric compact model simultaneously in nearly 20 European countries and China on 13 September.
SQM begins testing electric truck for logistics
The Chilean chemical company SQM is initiating the test run of an electric truck in the company’s logistics. The model is an electric 28-tonne truck from the Chinese manufacturer Yutong with a range of around 200 kilometres. According to the company, many more electric trucks could follow.
WM Motor signs Enel X as strategic partner
Enel X has signed a strategic agreement with Chinese electric car manufacturer WM Motor to launch collaborations in a number of different fields in electric mobility. The target markets that the duo will jointly target are Europe, China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and South America.
20 BYD electric trucks headed for Ecuador
BYD has received another order from South America. Public transport provider Transcarsell from Ecuador has ordered 20 electric trucks from BYD for delivery by 2021, the first of which is scheduled for August 2020.
