Volvo Trucks unveiled the FH Aero Electric with a range of up to 700 km in Gothenburg – and electrive was there. The manufacturer wants to be the first to enable a full day of long-haul operation without recharging. To get there, the Swedes have packed around 100 kWh more usable battery capacity into the truck than any rival currently offers. However, the strategy required compromises in other areas.
