Aral forms electric truck charging route in Rhine region
Aral pulse has opened a charging corridor for electric trucks along 600 kilometres of the Rhine-Alpine Corridor. The busy logistics route currently connects two major metropolitan regions with six charge hubs. However, the corridor is not yet complete.

VW and BP put first joint charging station into operation
With the inauguration of the first charging station in Düsseldorf, Volkswagen and BP have now officially launched their strategic partnership announced last year. In the first step of this cooperation, up to 4,000 additional fast charging points will be set up at petrol stations over the next 24 months.

BP buys into Digital Charging Solutions
Alongside the BMW Group and Daimler Mobility AG, BP will become the third shareholder in the charging infrastructure provider Digital Charging Solutions GmbH (DCS) with a share of 33.3 per cent. DCS will also offer combined charging and refuelling solutions through the partnership with the mineral oil company in the future.

Aral to set up 100+ charging points at gas stations in Germany
The mineral oil company Aral has announced that it intends to set up more than 100 fast-charging points at its German filling stations within the next twelve months. The expansion is to continue as the oil giant’s long-term planning envisages “several hundred locations”.

Aral & DLR envision the fuel station of the future
