German hydrogen consortium working on flat H2 tank
BMW, Bosch, Hexagon Purus and Testnet Engineering are working together on a flat hydrogen tank for the underbody of future fuel cell cars. The first prototypes of the 700 bar high-pressure storage tank are to be developed by the end of 2022.

Hexagon Purus to supply H2 fuel cell trucks to the US
The Norwegian hydrogen storage specialist Hexagon Purus has been contracted by two major truck manufacturers in North America to deliver complete vehicle integration of two hydrogen-powered class 8 trucks. Hexagon Purus will assemble the trucks with zero-emission systems and deliver the complete trucks.

European consortium to build 23 MW hydrogen ferry
A group of companies has applied to the European Union for funding to develop a large hydrogen ferry. The H2 ferry with the working title Europa Seaways is to have a fuel cell system with a capacity of up to 23 MW on board.

EDAG to develop hybrid storage using batteries and H2
The EDAG Group has started a joint research project with Hexagon Purus to develop a hybrid system of hydrogen and battery storage for integration into car floors. The customer should then be able to configure the number of storage units individually.
