Kuka to build underbody for VW ID.Buzz

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has entrusted Kuka with the planning, delivery, assembly and commissioning of a fully automated body shop for the substructure of the purely electrical ID. Buzz. The model will be produced at the VWN plant in Hanover from 2022.

VW electric cars now rolling off two lines in Zwickau

Volkswagen has now also converted the second production line at the Zwickau plant to the construction of MEB electric cars. The German carmaker converted hall 6 for this purpose within 13 weeks. Series production of the ID.4, which already began in August, will now take place in both Hall 5 and Hall 6.

Volkswagen is advertising its ID.3 electric model in six cities in Great Britain with a special campaign. Large murals in London, Manchester, Cardiff, Birmingham, Bristol, and Glasgow were painted using a paint called Airlite, that “eats” pollution found in the ambient air.
