German courts challenge Renault over remote battery termination
The German Federal Supreme Court is hearing a case to decide how much power manufacturers have over vehicle batteries in a lease. The court will decide whether it is legal for the battery of an electric vehicle to be remotely turned off in the case of an extraordinary termination of the lease.

Steer EV adds 1,000 electric cars in North America
Steer EV, an electric car subscription service from Canada, has announced that it will lease more than 1,000 electric cars worth between 80 and 150 million US dollars through a cooperation with Enterprise Fleet Management. The new vehicles should enable Steer EV to drive its expansion in the USA.

Onto raises $60Mn to bring EV subscriptions to Europe
Onto has completed a Series C funding round, collecting about 59.1 million euros from investors. The fresh capital will help Onto grow the electric car fleet for subscribers and allow the service to expand beyond the British borders. Until now, Onto had been exclusive to the UK.

Hyzon delivers fuel cell trucks to major steel firm in China
US fuel cell truck manufacturer Hyzon Motors announced the delivery of 29 hydrogen trucks to what the company considers a major steel conglomerate in China, namely Shanghai Hydrogen HongYun Automotive (HongYun).
