Jaguar to integrate Jedlix smart charging in I-Pace
Jaguar now cooperates with the Dutch smart-charging specialist Jedlix to integrate the latter’s application into the infotainment system of the Jaguar I-Pace from early 2020. Jedlix helps to optimise charging processes.

BMW researches bidirectional charging with partners
In the recently started research project “Bidirectional charge management”, the project partners want to develop the technologies for a charge management ready for series production. The results are to be evaluated in a field trial with 50 BMW i3 at the beginning of 2021.

BMW and the power grid operator TenneT want to support the stability of the power grid with a new charging control system. The intelligent charge control system developed for BMW Charging has already been tested in pilot projects in Germany and the USA.
