UFODrive launches Tesla rentals in San Francisco
Europe’s electric car rental company UFODrive landed in San Francisco, making the city the first foray into the United States. Their US launch follows the company’s rapid growth in European cities, including London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and Dublin, since its founding in 2018.
Hertz leads funding round for UFODrive electric car rentals
The electric car rental company UFODrive has raised 19 million US dollars in its Series A funding round. The main investors are car rental company Hertz and the private equity firm Certares. Hertz plans to use UFODrive’s digital rental and fleet management technology to operate its global electric car fleet.
UFODrive offers EV fleet management software
The electric car rental company UFODrive has launched a fleet management software for electric cars. The Luxembourg-based company already rents electric vehicles in various European cities and now also offers the new software ‘eMobility Fleet Manager’.
Germany’s first self-service Tesla car rental station
Luxembourg-based start-up UFOdrive opened their first self-service rental car station in Germany. Drivers can now rent and collect one of six Tesla Model S at Hamburg Airport, simply via app. UFOdrives operates EV-only fleets in Luxembourg and Brussels as well.
