“Orchard of Europe” edges toward 100% electric transport

Volvo Trucks has delivered 15 refrigerated electric trucks to Grupo Primafrio. The trucks of type Volvo FH Electric will collect fruits and vegetables in the Spanish Murcia region, known as the Orchard of Europe. The Group says this transitions its regional operations to 100% electric.

Volvo Trucks expands HPC network with Pilot Company

In the USA, Volvo Group and the Pilot Company, the largest operator of truck stops in North America, have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a public charging network for electric trucks. Pilot Company plans to install HPCs at an unspecified number of locations that will be open to heavy-duty vehicles of all brands.

Tradelink orders 15 Volvo VNR Electric trucks

Californian haulage company Tradelink Transport has ordered 15 all-electric VNR Electric heavy-duty trucks from Volvo Trucks North America. These 15 electric trucks will make up almost 30 per cent of Tradelink Transport’s total fleet.
