Peugeot reveals details to the electric 308 and 308 SW
Peugeot has officially confirmed all-electric versions for the 308 and its estate offshoot, the 308 SW. The duo will be on the market from mid-2023 and, as expected, will have a new electric motor on board. The French company also provided a detailed look at the technical data sheet of the double pack.
Peugeot to boost e-308 range to up to 400 km
Although the announced Peugeot e-308 will not be on the market until next year, there are now first reports on the technical data of the compact electric car. These differ slightly from the known data – probably also for the sister model Opel Astra-e.
Peugeot reveals the 308 SW in two PHEV versions
Following the new Peugeot 308, the French manufacturer is now also presenting the 308 SW station wagon version with plug-in hybrid versions. Peugeot has announced the market launch of the new Peugeot 308 SW for early 2022. Prices have not yet been mentioned.
Peugeot presents new 308 with 2 hybrid variants
Peugeot has unveiled the next generation of its 308 compact car. The new 308 is based on further development of the Efficient Modular Platform (EMP2), which, according to PSA, makes it possible to “provide a complete range of electrified versions”.
Peugeot is planning electrified 308 variant
Peugeot will also electrify the new 308. As CEO Jean-Philippe Imparato revealed in an interview, the French carmaker is planning to launch a plug-in hybrid version, while a purely electric version could follow later. Peugeot also wants to become increasingly electric with other models.
