Daimler Truck reveals first eActros LongHaul prototype
Daimler Truck has built the first prototypes of the battery-electric long-distance truck eActros LongHaul and plans to test them on public roads this year. In addition, the truck manufacturer has announced further variants of the eActros for distribution transport.

Mercedes eEconic undergoing tests, to launch in 2022
Daimler’s first electric refuse truck is currently undergoing intensive testing and is set to enter real-world trials at customers next. As a series vehicle, the e-truck based on the eActros will roll off the lines at Mercedes’ Wörth plant in the second half of 2022.

eCitaoro G to reach 220 km range with solid-state batteries
The Mercedes eCitaro G articulated bus has celebrated its world premiere. The electric bus is now also optionally available with solid-state batteries that can provide a range of up to 220 kilometres. Mercedes has also revealed more on the series production of the eActros.

Designwerk & Daimler Trucks make low-entry e-truck
Designwerk has entered a partnership with Daimler Trucks and has included a low-entry chassis based on the Mercedes Econic in its own product range. The first vehicle of this type is to be delivered in the second quarter of next year.

Mercedes designs municipal electric refuse truck
Daimler Trucks has announced a new all-electric truck called eEconic. It is based on the Mercedes-Benz eActros and is designed as a waste collection vehicle. Series production is scheduled to begin in 2022.
