Nio confirms plans to release 150 kWh battery in 2022

The Chinese electric carmaker has confirmed its earlier timetables, according to which the first vehicles with the 150 kWh solid-state battery will be delivered this year. There will also be flexible upgrades for existing Nio customers via the company’s battery swap stations.

Nio extends cooperation with JAC

The Chinese electric car manufacturer Nio has extended its manufacturing cooperation with the state-owned Jianghuai Automobile Group (JAC) until May 2024. JAC will continue to produce the Nio electric models ES8, ES6, EC6, ET7 and possibly other future Nio models at its factory in Hefei.

Nio launches used car service ‘Nio Certified’

Nio is launching a used car service called ‘Nio Certified’ and has set up a nationwide business network for it, offering the buying and selling of vehicles and services such as inspections and valuations. Within five years, Nio plans to invest 3 billion yuan (380 million euros) in the service.
