European debut of next-gen Kia Soul EV in Geneva

Kia will bring the third-gen e-Soul to the Geneva Motor Show next week. The Koreans’ updated electric car classic boasts a larger range and significantly increased torque with two motor and battery options. Kia says the e-Soul will be available in “selected European markets” this spring.

Audi to release PHEV versions of A6, A7, A8 and Q5

At the Geneva Motor Show, Audi will present PHEV variants of the A6, A7 Sportback, A8 and Q5 models, all with a minimum electric range of 40 kilometres (WLTP). The new plug-in hybrids will be available for ordering throughout 2019.

Piëch Automotive to present Mark Zero e-racer

The Swiss company Piëch Automotive will present an electric sports car called Mark Zero at the Geneva Motor Show, which will be followed by several other vehicles. Behind the company is Anton Piëch, a son of former VW boss Ferdinand Piëch, whose grandfather was Ferdinand Porsche.

Audi releases first pictures of Q4 e-tron concept

Audi is now offering a first official preview of its previously teased all-electric compact SUV based on the MEB Group modular system, due to debut in Geneva this March. The study now got the name of Audi Q4 e-tron concept and will go serial in 2020/21.

Audi brings electric concept SUV to Geneva

Audi’s planned all-electric compact SUV based on MEB will be presented on 5 March at the Geneva Motor Show as a near-series study. The still nameless Audi BEV will roll off the production line starting in 2021, as will the VW ID. and a compact electric car from Seat at the Zwickau plant.

Audi planning yet another e-SUV based on MEB

Audi has teased yet another e-SUV based on MEB at the Dutch market launch of the Audi e-tron. This new model would join the ranks of the already planned Audi e-tron, e-tron Sportback and e-tron GT. Plus, the supercar PB18 e-tron with solid-state battery is to become a reality, at least for the selected few.

Honda Urban EV delayed in Europe till 2020

Honda’s first all-electric model for the European market, the Urban EV, will not be launched at the end of 2019 as previously announced, but in 2020. A near-series version will debut at the Geneva Motor Show this March and the production model at the IAA in September.
