Audi invests in drive development in Hungary
Audi Hungaria has announced that it will invest a double-digit million euro amount in local technical development over the next two years. The focus of the investment is on the installation of a functional test bench for the development of electric drives and transmissions.
Audi’s Hungary plant prepares for e-drives for PPE
Preparations are underway at Audi Hungaria for the production of the new generation of electric motors. The new electric drives for the Group’s fully electric models, which are based on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) developed with Porsche, will be supplied from Győr, Hungary.
Audi to install 4,500 charge points at its plants
Audi wants to invest around 100 million euros in charging infrastructure to install at its own sites and is planning more than 4,500 charging points, most of which will also be publicly accessible. The majority will stand at Audi’s German plants with some at other locations as well.
